Each move in trampolining is given a tariff (dificulty score). In a competition, the first routine which is a set routine doesn't have a tariff score, but the second routine (and the final where applicable) does have a difficulty/tariff score.

The Tariff of a routine is made calculated by adding up the score of each move in the routine. The score of each move in the routine is calculated as follows;

A. Difficulty calculation trampoline - principles

  • 0.1 for each 1/4 s/s
    e.g back drop=0.1, 3/4 front s/s=0.3
  • 0.1 for each half twist
    e.g. full twist=0.2, back drop half twist to feet 0.1+0.1=0.2
  • 0.1 bonus for each completed somersault
    e.g. Front s/s (T) = 0.5, Barani (T) = 0.6
  • Shape bonus for Piked or Straight;
    For up to and including 1 & 3/4 s/s (630°) with twist; No bonus for < or |
    e.g. Barani (P) = 0.5 (s/s) + 0.1 (twist)=0.6
    e.g. Rudi (S) 0.5 (s/s) + 0.3 (twist)=0.8
    For 1 to 1 & 3/4 s/s (360° - 630°) without twist; 0.1 bonus for < or |
    e.g. 1 & 3/4 front s/s (P) 0.5+0.3 +0.1=0.9
    For 2 or more s/s with or without twist; 0.2 bonus for < or |
    e.g. Double back s/s (P) 0.5+0.5 + 0.2=1.2
    e.g. Triple back s/s (P) 0.5+0.5+0.5 + 0.2=1.7
    e.g. Half out trif (P) 0.5+0.5+0.6 + 0.2=1.8
